About Nannette Bailey

Nannette Bailey serves as the Program Administrator for the VCU Center on Health Disparities. She is on the front line in the planning, organization, and evaluation of the Center’s initiatives. Prior to her tenure at VCU, she worked as a senior training coordinator at the Harvard School of public health with a focus on emergency preparedness.

She received her Ed.M. in human development and psychology (Harvard University); M.T. in early childhood education (VCU); and B.A. in mass communications (Hampton University). She is the former executive director of the Carver Promise, a nonprofit mentoring program in Richmond, Va., which is designed to assist high-risk youth with completing high school and matriculating to college.
